I am sure most of us have fond memories of making Jack-0-lanterns as kids. This is the FIRST year that the boys have expressed an interest in making one. Previously, they have refused to touch the "gooey" stuff that is inside.
Personally, I have always found squishing the gooey pumpkin pulp through my fingers highly soothing & therapeutic, even. Maybe that's just me. (but then again, I am a Social Worker by trade...)
At any rate, this is our first year making Jack-0-lanterns.....so much fun. Well, except obviously, for my little Simey, he still refuses to touch the "weird stuff" inside his pumpkin!!! He named his jack-0-lantern, Punky.
They will adorn our house with pride!

Cute pumpkins. Someone told me that if you cover them on the outside and inside with vaseline they will last much longer...Looks like your guys had a great time!
