We do a FREE kid-sitting date-night swap with friends. This week was our turn to sit on all the kids!
We started out with, what is becoming, the TRADITIONAL spaghetti dinner! This was the BIG boys table. Lance & I sat with the wee one at the other table. It's so interesting to listen to the conversations that take place at this table from the other room.
After dinner we moved outside. Introduced the kids to the boys' new water table that was built by Lance. They added dishsoap to the water, and it added some extra fun!
Our only regret with the water table is that we did not build it a couple of years ago. It should have been a part of the boys' lives back then!!! Oh well, they love it now and happily play in it for hours!!
Then it was time to build a rocket ship/train. The boys are great hosts and even offered their friend a cup of tea when he climbed aboard....to get ready for take-off!
The boys have been friends since age 3. We are hoping it's a friendship that will last for years. They do so well together. It's a challenge to break through that strong twin barrier that the boys have built up, but this little guy AND his sister do really well with both of them.
