We spent the majority of the next day on the beach. The boys had fun finding shells and starfish. We also had the good "fortune" of finding loads of sand dollars! In the afternoon, we bought a really cool "hammerhead shark" kite...and with all the wind on the beach, we had no trouble at all flying it. This was the boys first time at REALLY flying a kite! It was fun to watch them. 
Our starfish, the boys named him "Jake". He is still in the process of being preserved...so as of late, his home is in the garage, as he is quite a smelly little critter!
One of the most strange and fun things to do on our vacation, was to actually drive on the beach. From October to April, it's actually considered to be a highway. The speed limit was 25, and it was one of the more curious things we've done. Also, it used up a TON of gas.
