ahhh....the life...to wake up each morning and look out the window to see this!! hear the birds singing
so hard to come back to our neighborhood...where there are two huge, ugly and OLD RV's parked across the street, a couple of boats....the view is not so serene....

That looks so pretty...are there lots of bugs there? What about alligators and snakes and such? (Is it obvious I haven't spent much time in that part of the country?)
yes! lots and lots of bugs! everywhere! they got used to them, but every now and then they would freak out! they did have a great time catching lightening bugs in jars as the sun was going down!! and i think their new favorite bug is the dragonfly. as for alligators..there used to be one in Lake Hickory, but they caught and killed it. we didn't see any snakes. lots and lots of birds though!
