The boys and I just went this morning on their FIRST school Field-Trip!!
We headed up to Walters Fruit Farm.
There we met Farmer George, who explained about growing apples. We learned about the cycle of the apple trees, and the boys got to pick an apple from the orchard.
Inside the farmhouse, we all got to sample apple slices, apple butter and apple cider.
As well, we visited the Cider House & learned how they make their cider.
The main event of the trip though,
was for the boys to pick out their pumpkin.
We had a very fun morning, and now our house has pumpkins out front!
