My parents began their westward journey on 26 July in Hickory, NC. They arrived @ our house 17 August. The boys were overjoyed to see their grandma and grandpa. We had a very full and busy week. Lots of playtime with them and Lance & my dad did a LOT of projects around the house! The boys spent a day out at the airbase with them and then went onto the AirForce recreation area @ Clear Lake. We took them peach picking at GreenBluffs, and we took a beautiful drive up to Mt. Spokane. We also spent a nice afternoon @ Coeur d'Alene lake. We had nice cool weather while they were here. Which they greatly appreciated as they had already weathered through the hotness in AZ and UT....100+ degrees.
